Workshops
Delaware Public Humanities Institute (DELPHI)
DELPHI is a two-week intensive institute through the Center for Materials Culture Studies at the University of Delaware, focused on teaching Masters and PhD candidates how to best use their research for outreach. During these two weeks, we met with a range of professionals to learn about website-making, podcasting, grant writing, elevator pitches, and radio and tv interviews, among other things.
Funding from DELPHI supported my living expenses while I researched and compiled the SHEER LIBRARY.
Voices in Contemporary Art (VoCA) Virtual Artist Interview Workshop (2020)
The Workshop is supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and is geared at a wide range of skill sets and professionals. As an introduction to artist interviews for me personally, I found the workshop to be invaluable. It opened me up to the different processes and tactics, as well as to the bias I can bring to a conversation as a Conservator.
